Hello there!

Welcome to the Missionaries of Charity Chicago blog!

I have created this blog so that our group has a forum to exchange information and keep in contact with each other as we embark on this magnificent adventure.

Mostly I wanted to put up the information we have collected so far about the trip:

Departure from Chicago: TBD 2010.

The duration of the trip depends on your personal preference. I plan to be in Calcutta for 4 weeks, and perhaps travel around India several weeks following that. I know many people can not afford to take that much time off of work and for other various reasons some people may choose to be there only 2 weeks (less than 2 weeks is not recommended due to the time it takes to adjust and get acquainted with the work of the Missionaries).

I will soon post the information that I've collected over the past few months. Its quite a lot and if I can't figure out how to post it as a link, I can easily email it to anyone interested.
